Aitbaar ik sheesha, toote toh na jude,
Dil mein phir shukook ke, kaante hi gade.
Trust is like glass, if it breaks, it doesn’t mend,
Then only thorns of doubt get embedded in the heart.
Bharosa ho toh rishte, mazboot bante hain,
Warna dil ke aangan, veeraan rehte hain.
If there is trust, relationships become strong,
Otherwise, the courtyards of the heart remain desolate.

Yaqeen ki dori, badi naazuk hoti hai,
Ik jhatke se aksar, yeh toot jaati hai.
The thread of belief is very delicate,
Often with one jolt, it breaks.

Aitbaar karna bhi, ik hunar hai bada,
Jis ne seekha wohi, khushiyon se bhara.
To trust is also a great skill,
He who learns it is filled with happiness.

Toda hai jis ne, aitbaar hamaara,
Use kya khabar, kitna hai khasaara.
One who has broken my trust,
What does he/she know, how great the loss is.

Bharosa rakho Rabb par, woh sab ka hai waali,
Us ki rehmat se bhare, har jholi khaali.
Keep trust in God, He is the guardian of all,
With His mercy, every empty lap is filled.

Aitbaar kho dena, sab kuch kho dena hai,
Phir zindagi bhar bas, rote hi rehna hai.
To lose trust is to lose everything,
Then one just has to keep weeping for a lifetime.

Yaqeen ki raushni, dil mein jab aaye,
Zindagi ki har mushkil, aasaan ho jaaye.
When the light of belief enters the heart,
Every difficulty of life becomes easy.

Jis pe kiya aitbaar, usi ne diya fareb,
Ab kis pe karein hum, yeh dil-e-ghareeb.
The one I trusted, deceived me,
Now whom should this poor heart trust?

Bharosa ek baar, jo uth jaaye dil se,
Phir pehle jaisa hona, bada mushkil hai.
Once trust is lost from the heart,
It’s very difficult for it to be like before.

Aitbaar ki bunyaad pe, rishte hain qaayam,
Yeh toote toh samjho, sab kuch hai zaa’il.
Relationships are established on the foundation of trust,
If it breaks, understand that everything is ruined.

Khud pe yaqeen ho, toh duniya tumhaari,
Warna har qadam pe, milegi khwaari.
If you believe in yourself, the world is yours,
Otherwise, at every step, you will face disgrace.

Aitbaar ka pauda, dil mein lagaaya tha,
Be-wafaai ki aandhi ne, use ukhaar phenka.
I had planted the sapling of trust in my heart,
The storm of unfaithfulness uprooted and threw it away.

Bharosa jeetna, bada kaam hai jaanaan,
Use nibhaana us se bhi, bada armaan hai.
To win trust is a great task, beloved,
To maintain it is an even greater desire.

Yaqeen kaamil ho toh, pathar bhi Khuda de,
Shak dil mein ho toh, sajde bhi raaigaan de.
If belief is perfect, even a stone can give God (i.e., become a means),
If there’s doubt in the heart, even prostrations are in vain.

Jis ne aitbaar toda, us ne dil toda,
Phir judne ki ummeed, kyun kar ho poora.
One who broke trust, broke the heart,
How can the hope of mending be fulfilled then?

Bharose ki deewaar, gir jaaye ik baar,
Phir umr bhar rahe, dil mein ik khaar.
If the wall of trust falls once,
Then a thorn remains in the heart for a lifetime.

Aitbaar karna seekho, magar dekh bhaal kar,
Har chamakti cheez sona, nahin hoti har baar.
Learn to trust, but with caution,
Every glittering thing is not gold every time.

Yaqeen ki daulat, jis ko mil jaaye,
Woh duniya ki har shai, be-fikr ho jaaye.
One who attains the wealth of belief,
Becomes carefree about everything in the world.

Toda hai tum ne, jo aitbaar ka rishta,
Ab kaise banega, woh pehle jaisa farishta.
You have broken the bond of trust,
Now how will that angel-like (innocent) relationship be restored?

Bharosa hi toh hai, jo zindagi chalaaye,
Warna har qadam pe, insaan thokar khaaye.
It is trust that keeps life going,
Otherwise, at every step, a person stumbles.

Aitbaar ki qeemat, woh kya jaane ga,
Jis ne kabhi kisi ka, dil na maana ga.
What will he/she know of the value of trust,
Who has never respected anyone’s heart?

Yaqeen jab uth jaaye, toh sab kuch be-ma’ani,
Zindagi lage jaise, ik veeraan kahaani.
When belief is lost, everything becomes meaningless,
Life seems like a desolate story.

Bharosa karo magar, aankhein khuli rakho,
Dost-numa dushman se, khud ko bacha ke rakho.
Trust, but keep your eyes open,
Protect yourself from an enemy disguised as a friend.

Aitbaar ka dhaaga, toote toh shor na ho,
Magar dil ki duniya mein, phir koi aur na ho.
When the thread of trust breaks, there may be no noise,
But in the world of the heart, then there is no one else.

Yaqeen ki kashti pe, jo ho sawaar,
Woh paar utrega, har dariya ke paar.
One who is aboard the boat of belief,
Will cross over, beyond every river.

Jis ne aitbaar ko, khilauna samjha,
Us ne rishton ka, khoon na-haq kiya.
One who considered trust a toy,
Unjustly shed the blood of relationships.

Bharosa hai toh jeene ka, maza bhi hai,
Be-yaqeeni ki duniya, sazaa hi sazaa hai.
If there is trust, there is also joy in living,
The world of uncertainty is only punishment.

Aitbaar ki daulat, sab se badi daulat,
Use ganwa diya toh, kya paayi mohlat.
The wealth of trust is the greatest wealth,
If you lose it, what respite have you found?

Yaqeen rakho khud par, aur Rabb ki zaat par,
Har mushkil tal jaayegi, ik achhi baat par.
Believe in yourself, and in the Being of God,
Every difficulty will be averted, upon a good word (or positive outcome).
