Ertuğrul Ghazi, woh mard-e-mujaahid,
Jis ka naam raushan, taareekh mein shaahid.
Ertuğrul Ghazi, that warrior of faith,
Whose bright name is a witness in history.
Imaan ki taaqat, talwaar ki dhaar,
Ertuğrul ka naara, Allahu Akbar yaar.
The strength of faith, the edge of the sword,
Ertuğrul’s slogan, “Allah is the Greatest,” friend.

Qabeele ka sardaar, woh sher-e-dileir,
Dushman ke liye tha, woh maut ka pher.
Chief of the tribe, that brave lion,
For the enemy, he was the turn of death.

Haq ki khaatir lada, har zulm ke khilaaf,
Ertuğrul ka jazba, tha sab se saaf.
He fought for truth, against every oppression,
Ertuğrul’s spirit was the purest of all.

Saadgi mein azmat, kirdaar mein shaan,
Ertuğrul Ghazi, hai qaum ki aan.
Greatness in simplicity, glory in character,
Ertuğrul Ghazi is the nation’s pride.

Ghore ki taapon se, laraz uthe adoo,
Ertuğrul ki haibat, thi har su har su.
With the hooves of his horse, enemies trembled,
Ertuğrul’s awe was everywhere.

Wafaadaari ka paikar, woh doston ka dost,
Ertuğrul ki baatein, dil ko karein chust.
An embodiment of loyalty, a friend of friends,
Ertuğrul’s words make the heart agile.

Khaimon ki zindagi, magar azm buland,
Ertuğrul ne bakhsha, ik khwaab arjumand.
Life in tents, but with high resolve,
Ertuğrul bestowed a noble dream.

Islam ka parcham, kiya us ne buland,
Kaafiron ke dil mein, daala khauf chand.
He raised the flag of Islam high,
Instilled some fear in the hearts of disbelievers.

Adl-o-insaaf ka, woh tha alambardaar,
Ertuğrul ki yaad, rahegi barqaraar.
He was the standard-bearer of justice and fairness,
Ertuğrul’s memory will remain intact.

Talwaar ki chhaaon mein, Kalima parhaaya,
Ertuğrul ne deen ka, bol baala kiya.
In the shadow of the sword, he taught the Kalima,
Ertuğrul made the word of faith supreme.

Woh ghaazi woh mujaahid, woh mard-e-khuddar,
Us ki bahaaduri ke, qisse hain be-shumaar.
That warrior, that fighter, that self-respecting man,
The tales of his bravery are countless.

Turkon ki shaan tha, woh Ertuğrul jawaan,
Jis ne rakhi bunyaad, ik azeem sultaan. (Saltanat ki: of an empire)
He was the glory of the Turks, that young Ertuğrul,
Who laid the foundation of a great sultan (empire).

Imaan ki haraarat, dil mein liye hue,
Ertuğrul Ghazi, aage hi barhe hue.
Carrying the warmth of faith in his heart,
Ertuğrul Ghazi kept moving forward.

Mazloom ka saathi, zaalim ka dushman,
Ertuğrul ka kirdaar, tha kitna raushan.
Companion of the oppressed, enemy of the oppressor,
How bright was Ertuğrul’s character.

Woh ek qabeela tha, jo bana ik qaum,
Ertuğrul ki qayaadat, thi sab se aham som. (Hissa: part/element)
It was one tribe that became a nation,
Ertuğrul’s leadership was the most important element.

Us ki talwaar se, larzaan thay baatil,
Ertuğrul ka naam, hai haq ki daleel.
Falsehood trembled from his sword,
Ertuğrul’s name is proof of truth.

Woh baap bhi azeem, woh beta bhi azeem, (Osman Ghazi)
Ertuğrul ki nasl, Rabb ki thi takreem.
That father was great, that son was also great (Osman Ghazi),
Ertuğrul’s lineage was honored by God.

Uqaabi nigaahein, sher ki si chaal,
Ertuğrul Ghazi, tha be-misaal.
Eagle-like eyes, a lion’s gait,
Ertuğrul Ghazi was unparalleled.

Us ne sikhaaya, himmat na haarna,
Haq ki khaatir, jaan bhi waarna.
He taught not to lose courage,
To sacrifice even life for the sake of truth.

Taareekh ke auraaq pe, naam hai tera,
Ertuğrul Ghazi, hai maan hamaara.
Your name is on the pages of history,
Ertuğrul Ghazi is our pride.

Woh Kayi qabeela, woh Ertuğrul ki shaan,
Jis ne raushan kiya, Islam ka nishaan.
That Kayi tribe, that glory of Ertuğrul,
Who illuminated the sign of Islam.

Jang ke maidaan mein, woh nidar sipaahi,
Ertuğrul ki himmat, deti hai gawaahi.
In the battlefield, that fearless soldier,
Ertuğrul’s courage bears witness.

Us ka har faisla, insaaf pe mabni,
Ertuğrul ki seerat, hai sab ke liye bani. (Misaal: example)
His every decision was based on justice,
Ertuğrul’s life is an example for all.

Woh khwaab jo dekha, Ertuğrul ne kabhi,
Osman ne poora kiya, woh ehd-e-Nabi. (Islami saltanat ka: of the Islamic empire)
The dream that Ertuğrul once saw,
Osman fulfilled it, that covenant of the Prophet (PBUH) (of an Islamic empire).

Azm-o-istiqlaal ka, woh koh-e-giraan,
Ertuğrul Ghazi, hai Musalmaanon ki jaan.
He was a mighty mountain of resolve and steadfastness,
Ertuğrul Ghazi is the soul of Muslims.

Us ki talwaar ki jhankaar se, kaanpe adoo,
Ertuğrul ka naam, le kar jiyo tum bhi.
Enemies trembled from the clash of his sword,
You too live by taking Ertuğrul’s name.

Woh saada zindagi, woh aala kirdaar,
Ertuğrul Ghazi, hai sab ka sardaar.
That simple life, that noble character,
Ertuğrul Ghazi is the leader of all.

Shahaadat ki tamanna, dil mein liye hue,
Ertuğrul Ghazi, har dam lade hue.
Carrying the desire for martyrdom in his heart,
Ertuğrul Ghazi fought at every moment.

Ertuğrul ki meeraas, hai imaan-o-jihaad,
Is pe chal kar milegi, qaum ko muraad.
Ertuğrul’s legacy is faith and struggle,
By following it, the nation will attain its desire.
