Usool zindagi ke, gar samjho toh hain naayaab,
Inhi se banti hai, har ik shai kaamyaab.
The rules of life, if understood, are rare (valuable),
From them alone, everything becomes successful.
Zaabte todne mein, hai waqti si khushi,
Magar anjaam aksar, laata hai tabaahi.
There is a temporary joy in breaking rules,
But the outcome often brings destruction.

Qaanoon ki paabandi, hai aman ki zamaanat,
Warna har su phaile, intishaar-o-qabaahat.
Adherence to law is the guarantee of peace,
Otherwise, chaos and ugliness spread everywhere.

Kuch qaa’ide banaaye, kuch khud hi seekhe,
Zindagi ke safar mein, yahi toh hain theeke. (Sahaare: supports)
Some rules were made, some learned by oneself,
In life’s journey, these are indeed the supports.

Usoolon pe chalna, hai mushkil zuroor,
Magar isi mein hai, kaamyaabi ka suroor.
Walking on principles is certainly difficult,
But in this lies the delight of success.

Mohabbat ke bhi kuch, apne usool hote hain,
Dil waale hi un ko, aksar qubool karte hain.
Even love has some rules of its own,
Only those with a heart often accept them.

Zaabton ki duniya, kabhi lage qaid-khaana,
Aazaadi ki khwaahish, dil ka hai taraana.
The world of rules sometimes feels like a prison,
The desire for freedom is the heart’s anthem.

Fitrat ke bhi usool, hain kitne atal,
Sooraj waqt pe nikle, chaand bhi ho mukammal.
How unshakeable are the rules of nature too,
The sun rises on time, the moon also becomes full.

Khel ke maidaan mein, usool hain zaroori,
Warna jeet aur haar, ho jaayegi adhoori.
In the playing field, rules are necessary,
Otherwise, victory and defeat will be incomplete.

Har shai ka qaa’ida, har baat ka saleeqa,
Zindagi ko banaata, yahi toh hai tareeqa.
A rule for everything, etiquette for every talk,
This indeed is the way that shapes life.

Usoolon se baghaawat, kabhi rang laati hai,
Nayi raahon ki jaanib, duniya ko le jaati hai.
Rebellion against rules sometimes bears fruit,
It takes the world towards new paths.

Zaabte gar na hon, toh ho jaaye afraatafri,
Har koi apni marzi ka, maalik ho phir wohi.
If there are no rules, chaos would ensue,
Everyone would then be the master of their own will.

Ikhlaaq ke zaabte, dil mein basa lo,
Achhe insaan ban kar, duniya ko dikha lo.
Settle the rules of ethics in your heart,
Becoming a good human, show the world.

Qaanoon shikni ka, anjaam hai bura,
Aman-o-sukoon ke liye, qaanoon hai bhala.
The outcome of breaking the law is bad,
For peace and tranquility, law is good.

Kuch usool hain atal, jo badalte nahin,
Sachaai, dayanat, yeh jhukte nahin.
Some principles are unshakeable, they don’t change,
Truth, honesty, these do not bow.

Zindagi ke usool, gar sakht bhi lagein,
Inhi pe chal kar toh, manzilein milein.
Even if life’s rules seem tough,
Only by walking on them are destinations reached.

Har mu’aashre ke, apne hain qaa’ide,
Un ki paabandi mein, sab ke hain faa’ide.
Every society has its own rules,
In their observance lie benefits for all.

Zaabte hain zaroori, nazm-o-zabt ke liye,
Taraqqi ki raah pe, qaum ko chalne ke liye.
Rules are necessary for order and discipline,
For the nation to walk on the path of progress.

Kaainaat ka nizaam, usoolon pe qaayam,
Har sitaara, har saiyaara, hai paaband-e-daa’im.
The system of the universe is established on rules,
Every star, every planet is eternally bound.

Usoolon ka sauda, kabhi na karna yaar,
Kirdaar ki qeemat, hai sab se be-shumaar.
Never bargain on principles, friend,
The value of character is the most countless.

Be-usoola insaan, bhatakta hi rahe,
Manzil ki jaanib, kabhi na woh barhe.
An unprincipled person keeps wandering,
He never moves towards the destination.

Qaanoon ki nazar mein, sab baraabar hain,
Ameer ho ya ghareeb, sabhi bashar hain.
In the eyes of the law, all are equal,
Whether rich or poor, all are humans.

Zaabton se bhaagna, hai khud-farebi,
Inhi mein chhupi hai, asal kaamyaabi.
Running from rules is self-deception,
Real success is hidden in them.

Hudood-Allah ki, paabandi hai laazim,
Isi mein hai momin ki, najaat-e-daa’im.
Adherence to God’s limits is obligatory,
In this lies the believer’s eternal salvation.

Usool parasti bhi, had se na barhe,
Insaaniyat ka daaman, haath se na chhoote.
Even adherence to principles should not exceed limits,
May the hem of humanity not slip from the hand.

Qaa’ide qaanoon sab, insaan ke liye,
Insaan na ho un ka, ghulaam ban ke jiye.
All rules and laws are for humans,
Humans should not live becoming their slaves.

Zaabte todne ki, ik sazaa bhi hai,
Magar kabhi kabhi, ik nayi raah bhi hai.
There is also a punishment for breaking rules,
But sometimes, there is also a new path.

Mehfil ke aadaab, guftugoo ka usool,
Inhi se banti hai, shakhsiyat qubool.
Etiquette of an assembly, rules of conversation,
From these, an acceptable personality is formed.

Zindagi ke usool, gar honge mazboot,
Toh har toofaan mein bhi, rahoge tum mehfooz.
If life’s principles are strong,
Then even in every storm, you will remain safe.

Usoolon ki jang mein, jo datt jaayega,
Taareekh mein apna, naam likh jaayega.
One who stands firm in the war of principles,
Will write his name in history.
