امتحان کی رات، نیند نہیں آتی، کتابوں کی دنیا، سمجھ نہیں آتی۔
Imtihaan ki raat, neend nahin aati,
Kitaabon ki duniya, samajh nahin aati.
The night of the exam, sleep doesn’t come,
The world of books, I don’t understand.
سلیبس ہے پہاڑ، وقت ہے تھوڑا، یا رب مدد کر، دل ہے یہ توڑا۔ (پریشان)
Syllabus hai pahaad, waqt hai thoda,
Ya Rabb madad kar, dil hai yeh toda. (Pareshaan: troubled)
The syllabus is a mountain, time is short,
O Lord, help, this heart is broken (troubled).
رٹے لگاتے، صبح شام ہو گئی، پھر بھی یہ تیاری، نہ تمام ہو گئی۔
Ratte lagaate, subah shaam ho gayi,
Phir bhi yeh taiyaari, na tamaam ho gayi.
Cramming, morning and evening passed,
Still, these preparations were not completed.
سوال نامہ دیکھا، تو ہوش اڑ گئے، جو یاد کیا تھا، وہ سب بھول گئے۔
Sawaal naama dekha, toh hosh ud gaye,
Jo yaad kiya tha, woh sab bhool gaye.
Saw the question paper, and my senses flew,
Everything I had memorized, I forgot.
امتحان کا ڈر، دل میں ہے بسا، پاس ہو جائیں یا رب، یہی ہے دعا۔
Imtihaan ka dar, dil mein hai basa,
Paas ho jaayein Ya Rabb, yahi hai dua.
The fear of exams resides in the heart,
May I pass, O Lord, this is the prayer.
دوستوں سے نوٹس، رات بھر مانگے، صبح امتحان میں، سر پیٹتے جاگے۔
Doston se notes, raat bhar maange,
Subah imtihaan mein, sar peet’te jaage.
Asked friends for notes all night,
Woke up in the morning exam, beating my head.
استاد کی باتیں، یاد آ رہی ہیں، کاش پڑھ لیا ہوتا، یہ آہیں بھر رہی ہیں۔
Ustaad ki baatein, yaad aa rahi hain,
Kaash parh liya hota, yeh aahein bhar rahi hain.
Remembering the teacher’s words,
I wish I had studied, these sighs are rising.
امتحان کا نتیجہ، جب آئے گا، دل کی دھڑکن تیز، ہو ہی جائے گا۔
Imtihaan ka nateeja, jab aayega,
Dil ki dhadkan tez, ho hi jaayega.
When the exam result comes,
The heartbeat will indeed become fast.
محنت کی ہے تو، پھل بھی ملے گا، کامیابی کا پھول، ضرور کھلے گا۔
Mehnat ki hai toh, phal bhi milega,
Kaamyaabi ka phool, zuroor khilega.
If you have worked hard, you will get the fruit,
The flower of success will surely bloom.
نقل کا سہارا، کمزور لیتے ہیں، محنتی بچے ہی، کامیاب رہتے ہیں۔
Naqal ka sahaara, kamzor lete hain,
Mehnati bachhe hi, kaamyaab rehte hain.
Weak ones take the support of cheating,
Only hardworking children remain successful.
امتحان کی گھڑی، ہے بڑی کٹھن، صبر سے کام لو، نہ ہو کوئی شکن۔ (ماتھے پر)
Imtihaan ki ghadi, hai badi kathin,
Sabr se kaam lo, na ho koi shikan. (Maathe par: on the forehead – worry)
The hour of the exam is very difficult,
Work with patience, may there be no frown (of worry).
کتابوں کا بوجھ، سر پہ ہے سوار، امتحان کے بعد، ہوگا چھٹکارا۔
Kitaabon ka bojh, sar pe hai sawaar,
Imtihaan ke baad, hoga chhutkaara.
The burden of books is riding on the head,
After the exam, there will be relief.
دعائیں ماں باپ کی، ساتھ ہیں ہمارے، امتحان میں کامیاب، ہوں گے ہم پیارے۔
Duaayein maa baap ki, saath hain hamaare,
Imtihaan mein kaamyaab, honge hum pyaare.
The prayers of parents are with us,
We will be successful in the exam, dear ones.
پڑھائی کی فکر، امتحان کا خوف، نیند اڑ جاتی ہے، ہر طرف ہے اوف۔
Parhaai ki fikr, imtihaan ka khauf,
Neend ud jaati hai, har taraf hai oof.
Worry of studies, fear of exams,
Sleep flies away, everywhere there is “oof” (distress).
امتحان تو زندگی کا، حصہ ہے اک، ہمت سے دو اسے، نہ ہو کوئی شک۔
Imtihaan toh zindagi ka, hissa hai ik,
Himmat se do ise, na ho koi shak.
Exams are a part of life,
Give them with courage, may there be no doubt.
وقت کم ہے بہت، پڑھنا ہے زیادہ، یا رب کرم کر، پورا ہو ارادہ۔
Waqt kam hai bahut, parhna hai zyaada,
Ya Rabb karam kar, poora ho iraada.
Time is very short, have to study a lot,
O Lord, have mercy, may the intention be fulfilled.
امتحان ہال میں، خاموشی کا راج، قلم کی ٹک ٹک، کرتی ہے آواز آج۔
Imtihaan hall mein, khaamoshi ka raaj,
Qalam ki tik tik, karti hai aawaaz aaj.
In the examination hall, silence reigns,
The “tick-tock” of the pen makes a sound today.
اچھے نمبر آئیں، یہ ہے سب کی چاہ، محنت کرنے والوں کی، اللہ سنے آہ۔ (دعا)
Achhe number aayein, yeh hai sab ki chaah,
Mehnat karne waalon ki, Allah sune aah. (Dua: prayer)
May good marks come, this is everyone’s wish,
May Allah listen to the prayer of those who work hard.
امتحان کے دن، دل گھبراتا ہے، جیسے کوئی طوفاں، آنے کو آتا ہے۔
Imtihaan ke din, dil ghabraata hai,
Jaise koi toofaan, aane ko aata hai.
On the day of the exam, the heart gets anxious,
As if some storm is about to come.
پاس ہونے کی خوشی، سب سے ہے الگ، محنت کا میٹھا پھل، لگتا ہے بھلا۔
Paas hone ki khushi, sab se hai alag,
Mehnat ka meetha phal, lagta hai bhala.
The joy of passing is unique from all,
The sweet fruit of hard work feels good.
امتحان کی ٹینشن، نہ لو میرے یار، ہوگا وہی جو منظور، پروردگار۔
Imtihaan ki tension, na lo mere yaar,
Hoga wohi jo manzoor, Parwardigaar.
Don’t take the tension of exams, my friend,
Whatever God wills, will happen.
کوشش کرو پوری، نتیجہ رب پہ چھوڑو، امتحان کی فکر میں، دل کو نہ توڑو۔
Koshish karo poori, nateeja Rabb pe chhoro,
Imtihaan ki fikr mein, dil ko na todo.
Make full effort, leave the result to God,
Don’t break your heart worrying about the exam.
جو پڑھا تھا وہ آیا، تو خوشی ہوئی، امتحان کی مشکل، آسان سی ہوئی۔
Jo parha tha woh aaya, toh khushi hui,
Imtihaan ki mushkil, aasaan si hui.
What I had studied came (in the exam), so I was happy,
The difficulty of the exam became easy.
امتحان کے بعد، آزادی کا احساس، دل ہوا ہلکا، جیسے کوئی خاص۔
Imtihaan ke baad, aazaadi ka ehsaas,
Dil hua halka, jaise koi khaas.
After the exam, the feeling of freedom,
The heart became light, as if something special.
رزلٹ کا دن بھی، اک امتحان ہے، دل میں دھک دھک، لب پہ جان ہے۔
Result ka din bhi, ik imtihaan hai,
Dil mein dhak dhak, lab pe jaan hai.
Result day is also an exam,
Heart is pounding, life is on the lips (anxious).
امتحان میں کامیابی، محنت کا انعام، روشن ہو مستقبل، یہ ہے دل کا پیام۔
