Arrival of Beloved Prophet: 30 Rabi ul Awal Poems

Rabi-ul-Awwal aaya, khushiyaan hain har su,
Aamad-e-Mustafa ki, har lab pe guftugoo.
Rabi-ul-Awal has come, happiness is everywhere,
Talk of the arrival of Mustafa (PBUH) is on every lip.
Baarah Rabi-ul-Awwal, woh subh-e-bahaaraan,
Jab tashreef laaye, Nabiyon ke sultaan.
The twelfth of Rabi-ul-Awal, that spring morning,
When the King of Prophets graced us with his presence.

Aamad-e-Sarkaar se, jahaan jagmagaaya,
Andheron mein noor ka, paighaam laaya.
With the arrival of the Master (PBUH), the world lit up,
He brought a message of light in the darkness.

Sallu ‘ala Muhammad, wird-e-zubaan hamaara,
Aap ki aamad se, raushan jahaan saara.
“Blessings upon Muhammad (PBUH)” is the chant of our tongues,
With Your (PBUH) arrival, the whole world is illuminated.

Jashn-e-Milad-un-Nabi, dil se manaayenge,
Naatein parh parh kar, khushiyaan lutaayenge.
We will celebrate the birth of the Prophet (PBUH) from the heart,
By reciting Naats, we will spread happiness.

Woh Rahmat-ul-lil-‘Aalameen, ban kar aaye,
Gumraahon ko seedhi, raah dikhaaye.
He (PBUH) came as the Mercy to the Worlds,
Showed the straight path to the misguided.

Aamina Bibi ka durr-e-yateem aaya,
Jis ne do aalam mein, noor phailaaya.
The orphan pearl of Lady Aamina arrived,
Who spread light in both worlds.

Rabi-ul-Awwal ka chaand, mubaarak ho sab ko,
Aamad-e-Khair-ul-Bashar, laayi hai khushboo.
May the moon of Rabi-ul-Awal be blessed for everyone,
The arrival of the Best of Mankind (PBUH) has brought fragrance.

Jhande lagaao, gharon ko sajaao,
Aamad-e-Nabi ka, jashn manaao.
Put up flags, decorate your homes,
Celebrate the arrival of the Prophet (PBUH).

Durood-o-salaam ki, sadaayein buland hon,
Aashiqaan-e-Nabi ke, dil bhi shaad hon.
May the calls of Durood and Salaam be loud,
May the hearts of the Prophet’s (PBUH) lovers also be joyful.

Makkah ki zameen pe, woh noor utra,
Jis se munawwar hua, har ik zarra.
That light descended on the land of Makkah,
By which every particle was illuminated.

Yateemon ke waali, ghareebon ke haami,
Aap ki shafqat, hai sab pe ‘aami.
Guardian of orphans, supporter of the poor,
Your (PBUH) compassion is for everyone.

Rabi-ul-Awwal ki, bahaarein hain chhaayin,
Har dil mein khushi ki, lehrein hain aayin.
The springs of Rabi-ul-Awal have spread,
Waves of happiness have come into every heart.

Woh aaye toh badla, zamaane ka naqsha,
Har su phaili, hidaayat ki khushboo.
When He (PBUH) came, the map of the era changed,
The fragrance of guidance spread everywhere.

Aap ka Uswa-e-Hasana, raah-e-najaat,
Is par chal kar mile, donon jahaan ki barkaat.
Your (PBUH) excellent example is the path of salvation,
By following it, one gets the blessings of both worlds.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi, sab se badi Eid,
Jis se mili hamein, Tauheed ki naveed.
Eid Milad-un-Nabi is the greatest Eid,
From which we received the good news of Monotheism.

Noor-e-Mujassam, ban kar jo aaye,
Kufr ke baadal, chhat gaye saare.
When the Embodiment of Light (PBUH) came,
All clouds of disbelief dispersed.

Seerat-e-Tayyiba pe, amal karenge,
Zindagi apni, sanwaar lenge.
We will act upon the pure Seerah (life of the Prophet PBUH),
We will adorn our lives.

Rabi-ul-Awwal ka maheena, ba-barkat aaya,
Har momin ka dil, khushi se gaaya.
The blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awal has come,
Every believer’s heart sang with joy.

Mohsin-e-Insaniyat, teri kya shaan hai,
Tujh pe qurbaan, meri jaan hai.
Benefactor of Humanity (PBUH), what is your majesty!
My life is sacrificed for you.

Aap ki ta’leemaat, mash’al-e-raah hain,
Bhatke huon ki, manzil-e-nigaah hain.
Your (PBUH) teachings are a beacon on the path,
They are the destination of sight for the lost ones.

Aamad-e-Mustafa, Marhaba Marhaba,
Har taraf goonje, yahi sadaa sadaa.
Arrival of Mustafa (PBUH), Welcome Welcome,
May this call always echo everywhere.

Woh Fakhr-e-Rusul, woh Shaafi’-e-Mehshar,
Un ki aamad pe, jhoome har bashar.
He (PBUH), the Pride of Messengers, the Intercessor on Judgment Day,
Every human sways with joy at His arrival.

Rabi-ul-Awwal ki, fazeelat hai kya khoob,
Jis mein aaye Nabi, hamare mehboob.
How excellent is the virtue of Rabi-ul-Awal,
In which our beloved Prophet (PBUH) arrived.

Dilon mein mohabbat, Nabi ki jagaao,
Sunnaton pe amal kar ke, zindagi sajaao.
Awaken the love of the Prophet (PBUH) in hearts,
Adorn life by acting upon the Sunnahs.

Woh aaye toh jahaalat, kaafoor hui,
Ilm-o-hikmat ki, har su raushni hui.
When He (PBUH) came, ignorance vanished,
The light of knowledge and wisdom spread everywhere.

Milad ka din hai, khushi ka samaan,
Har momin ka dil, hai aaj shaadmaan.
It is the day of Milad, an atmosphere of happiness,
Every believer’s heart is joyful today.

Aap ki zaat-e-aqdas, rehmat hi rehmat,
Jis ne paayi pairavi, paayi us ne jannat.
Your (PBUH) sacred being is mercy upon mercy,
Whoever followed, attained Paradise.

Rabi-ul-Awwal mein, duroodon ki bahaar,
Har aashiq-e-Nabi ka, dil hai be-qaraar.
In Rabi-ul-Awal, there is a spring of Duroods,
The heart of every lover of the Prophet (PBUH) is restless (with joy and longing).

Nabi ki aamad pe, dil shaad karenge,
Un ki sunnaton se, ghar aabaad karenge.
We will make our hearts joyful on the Prophet’s (PBUH) arrival,
We will make our homes prosperous with His Sunnahs.
